Desde Servimedia, concretamente, José Alías - que siempre está atento a estas cosas- informa que el Pacto Mundial de Naciones Unidas ha anunciado la exclusión de 107 compañías - entre las que se encuentran 19 españolas - en el periodo correspondiente al último semestre del pasado año como consecuencia de que no han cumplimentado el informe de progreso (COP) durante dos años consecutivos.
Esta cifra representa el dos por ciento sobre un total de 4.416 participantes que tienen la obligación de realizar dicha informe, en el que las entidades deben reflejar los avances realizados en relación con los diez principios que promueve esta iniciativa internacional.
Durante el mismo período, 2.605 empresas han realizado dicho COP, de los cuales 180 lograron el nivel Avanzado GC, que se según la entidad afirma en un comunidad refleja un mayor compromiso con la transparencia en comparación con los primeros seis meses del año.
En cuanto a las incorporaciones, 707 empresas de todo el mundo se han unido a la iniciativa entre julio y diciembre de 2013. Por otro lado, del total de empresas excluidas 19 han sido firmas españolas entre las que se encuentran:
