Sustainability ESG Manager (French/English)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sustainability & ESG Senior manager to join the Sustainability team, reporting to the Sustainability Lead, and to support Criteo’s strategy on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

You will be in charge of the Non-Financial Reporting:

  • Manage the ESG annual reportings, driving alignment with existing and evolving standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), etc.
  • Closely monitor the evolution of the regulation (CSRD)
  • Communicate activities relating to CSR, ESG and the rating of the Company

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare, implement, and communicate ESG reporting. You will work closely with managers and business experts across all departments within the Group to ensure that Criteo's ESG objectives and performance are accurately measured and tracked.

This is an important role within the company and the candidate will be at the heart of Criteo's ESG performance.

This position will have significant responsibilities related to Criteo’s ESG reporting, disclosure, and transparency with both investors and internal teams.

Missions:

  • Monitoring trends in Sustainability areas to meet constantly changing needs and keep abreast of developments in legislation (CSRD, ISSB, SEC, double materiality analysis, taxonomy, etc.).
  • Preparing Criteo’s ESG publications as deliverables for external and internal communication (drafting of the CSR report, translations, and layout with our integrated creative agency) in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Global Compact report
  • Establish timeline, process, and project management for publishing the report in a timely fashion and building annual improvement plans enhancing the report each year to drive toward industry-leading sustainability.
  • Coordinate and manage the collection of qualitative and quantitative ESG data across the company
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date presentation materials for meetings with various stakeholder groups such as the Sustainability Committee
  • Assist with the evaluations of the Group's CSR performance by rating agencies - as well as preparing responses to questionnaires in partnership with Investor Relations
  • Help draft ESG communication content with the Sustainability team, in partnership with Legal and Investor Relations
  • Identify innovative and efficient approaches to sustainability/ESG data, story collection and reporting, including publication of metrics, proof-points, integrated reporting, and also to enhance authenticity and creativity.

Who You Are:

  • At least 5-6 year track record of developing and delivering qualitative and quantitative sustainability and ESG reporting.
  • Understanding and knowledge of fundamental ESG frameworks, principles, conventions, regulatory regimes, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in NFRD is preferable
  • Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail, results-driven, and able to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Project management skills, including creating lean processes and governance structures
  • Ability to navigate complex business and projects
  • Strong verbal, writing, editing, data visualization, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excels in a fast-paced, rigorous work environment; effectively prioritizes and meets deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal skills; Ability to convince, build and maintain strong relationships/credibility with stakeholders
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated, diligent, collaborative, personable, and capable of working independently
  • Native (or equivalent) English and excellent French (verbal & written)
