Workplace: This role can be remote, hybrid or onsite depending on the candidates preference. The client has an office based in Bilbao.

Job Summary:

This position involves spearheading the development and execution of strategies related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The Sustainability Analyst will analyze and interpret data, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement in sustainability practices. Collaborating across departments, this role involves benchmarking industry standards, conducting research, and ensuring the client remains a leader in sustainable practices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and communicating our client’s commitment to sustainability, contributing significantly to a more responsible and environmentally conscious future. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing and supporting our company's strategy for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Collecting, managing, and analyzing data related to sustainability metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and tracking progress.
• Researching and benchmarking industry standards, ensuring our client stay at the forefront of sustainability practices.
• Collaborating with various departments across our global organization to align efforts and ensure a meaningful impact is being made.

The minimum requirements are:

• 10 years’ experience with at least 5+ years in sustainability.
• Dipl.-Ing in Engineering Industrial area and/or Environmental Science or Sustainability.
• Experience developing Environmental, Social, and Governance Strategies.
• Background working directly in corporate ESG/sustainability or ESG consulting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Great at data analysis, reporting and data interpretation as well as research and benchmarking.
• Superb communication skills in English and ideally one other EU language.
